Mitre 10 Tunarama MX - 24 January 2010
1st Wednesday of each month - 7.30pm - Committee Meeting - The club committee meetings are held each month at the Lincoln South Club (Tenant Street). The committee encourages members and new faces to attend these meetings. If you are unable to attend, but have a suggestion, please contact one of our committee members to give them your suggestions. Remember: many hands make light work....so all help is welcomed.

Port Lincoln Motocross Club AGM

CLUB MEMBERSHIPS are NOW DUE - we would like to remind our members that Memberships are now due for the 2009 / 2010 year. The club has revised the fees to $50 single or $50 family. Click here for more info.
PLMX Club Dinner for State Title Riders
More than 50 riders, friends, family and supporters attended the Club Dinner on 26 August 2009 to celebrate the success of our local riders at this years State Title Rounds.
The Boston Hotel was the venue for the event which was sponsored by Mortlock Machinery and Cluster Cycles. The highlight of the evening was the presentation to all Club Riders who had taken part in the State Title and Clubman Series. Our esteemed Club President Craig Zippel entertained the guests with his fantastic speech and he was assisted by our Treasurer Robyn Zippel. Each rider was presented with a badge which Robyn then sewed onto club members Club shirts!
A powerpoint presentation was aso displayed on the evening showing some of the shots and highlights taken of riders during the series. The club would like to thank everyone that contributed photos and footage as well as a Big Thanyou to our sponsors and everyone that assisted in making the evening a great success!

2009 STATE TITLE OVERALL RESULTS

May 2009 - AGM - NEW Committee - the AGM was held on 6 May. It was great to see some new faces at the meeting, and as a result, some new members on the committee. Some changes were made to the positions on the Exec Committee to share out some of the jobs (many hands make light work!!).....and there were some position changes......but once again - we are pleased to have a full committee that will be here to have another great year of motorcycling. March 2009- Fun Day at the Track - Fundraiser to support Matty Pierce on the road to recovery - THANKS to everyone (Members, Riders, Supporters, Volunteers, Motorcycle shops, Donators and Sponsors) who have supported Port Lincoln Motorcycle Club and Matty Pierce, one of our members on his road to recovery. We had Donation Tins out at MotoX in Port Lincoln and Kimba, Fun Day Fundraising from our Rider Fees, Canteen and Bar at Saturdays Fun Day and an Auction on the day with goods donated from Darren @ 5cc/Magic FM......soooo thanks again everyone for your support which has been awesome. We were able to raise more than $1000 to help Matty whilst he recovers over the next few months....There was some footage taken at the Fun Day which attracted about 100 people, including riders from up the coast as far as Port Kenny and Yarbs all the way from Port Augusta.....there will be some footage on the local news this week between 6.30-7pm... so keep an eye out for Krissy.
15 March 2009 - results and some new photos from Kimba EP round have been uploaded - with many thanks to the EP Tribune newspaper!
25 January 2009 -Mitre10 Port Lincoln Tunarama MX - EP Series Round 1 - Congratulations to all the riders that took part in this event. We had more than 120 line up and many had travelled from Whyalla, Kimba and Port Pirie as well as Berri and Ceduna. The club would like to thank all the helpers on the day (in particular we welcome aboard our new helpers) and to all the riders for making this another successfull event. We look forward to seeing you all at Tunarama. You can find the daysresults on the Results page. We would also like to thank our Main Sponsors MITRE10 for being available to make the presentations.
Rider Profiles - We have set up a new Riders Profile page.....check it out and get your profile uploaded now.
Track Permits- we are trialling a new way of letting members know when there is a practice permit on the track. Officials can obtain permits and then post details on our Forum under Track Permits and Access. Click here to find out if a track permit is in place. Riders are reminded that they are unable to ride on the track unless you hold a licence, an official is present and you have paid the $5 levy. For more information about Licencing requiements, you can check our Track Access & Permits page which can be found under Club Information.
Photos- do you have photos of Club Members riding at State Titles or other Events that we can upload. Phone me on 0427 830 000 so we can show them on your club site.
