Rider Profiles - We have set up a new Riders Profile page.....check it out and get your profile uploaded now.

Track Changes
- have you been out to the track lately......there have been some major changes.  The track has had some jumps removed, others added.  There is even a new "woops" section (not sure of the technical terms) and changes to the track layout.  The committee would like to extend all the helpers that contributed their time and a BIG BIG thank you to DK Quarries and Noel Dickson who have donated their machinery and time to assist with these changes.  We urge our club members to support these businesses who have so generously donated their time.

Christmas Windup and Trophy Presentation - The Club Windup was held on Saturday afternoon, 13 December2008.  It was a fantastic event for all those  who attended (the rain even stayed away).  The Club extends a big thank you to all riders and helpers on the day (Santa was awfully sorry he got bogged)........and Congratulations to all Trophy winnersThe Club Overall Points table can be found under Results.

MIA - Missing in Action
.does anyone know where all the seniors have gone?  How can we get you all back to the club?  Let the committee know what you are after so that we can make this club bigger and better for all members.  You can log your comments into our Forum page.

Track Permits
- we are trialling a new way of letting members know when there is a practice permit on the track.  Officials can obtain permits and then post details on our Forum under Track Permits and AccessClick here to find out if a track permit is in place.  Riders are reminded that they are unable to ride on the track unless you hold a licence, an official is present and you have paid the $5 levy.  For more information about Licencing requiements, you can check our Track Access & Permits page which can be found under Club Information.

Notes from Committee Meeting of 3 December 2008 : -

  • Craig Zippel has been elected the new President of the Port Lincoln MCC.  Steven Foord and Mark Polomka have been elected Vice President and Assistant Vice President respectively.  The committee congratulates Craig, Steve and Mark on their appointments and asks that club members support them in their positions.
  • The committee is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the first round of the Clubman Series next year.  This is a Seniors event, but we are looking forward to hosting riders from all over SA.
  • All club officials who are committee members have been distributed keys to the track.  Riders can check the Forum to see when track permits are in place, or contact one of the officials to gain access to the track.  Keys will no longer be available from the bike shops.

Photos - do you have photos of Club Members riding at State Titles or other Events that we can upload.  Phone me on 0427 830 000 so  we can show them  on your club site.
